Meet the Team

the people who write, edit, and design

Charlotte Luke

Editor in Chief, Staff Writer

Charlotte Luke has been a Spartan Review staff writer since she was in seventh grade. Now a senior, she is also the two-time editor in chief. Last year, Charlotte received a National Silver Medal from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for her article "How Athens, GA is a Microcosm for the World's Trash Problem," as well as a Gold Key for her critical essay "Where Women Have the Upper Hand." When she is neither editing nor writing, Charlotte enjoys going to Ciné and the Athens Farmers Market.

Anannya Das

Staff Writer

Anannya Das is a senior who writes science articles for the Spartan Review. She performed taekwondo in the previous talent show and loves to play viola in the Upper School orchestra. She also loves science and anything math-related.

Eleanor Connolly

Staff Writer

Eleanor Connolly is a senior at Athens Academy. She is interested in writing and hopes to make a career of it in the future. Outside of school, Eleanor enjoys running cross country and participating in the Drama Department's theatrical productions every spring. Eleanor also is a Stranger Things aficionado and loves the Atlanta Braves. She is grateful for the opportunity to write for The Spartan Review, and she hopes anyone who likes expressing themselves via writing will participate as well!
